Johanna Chmielowicz's Obituary
Johanna P. Chmielowicz, age 98, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2014 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 15, 1915, daughter of the late Joseph and Stefania (Gapinski) Grochowski. Johanna married Adam Chmielowicz on November 18, 1933 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1998. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Survivors include her Son: Reginald (Kathy) Chmielowicz, Lombard, IL; Daughter: Patricia Radloff, Worthington, OH; Grandchildren: William Radloff, Jr.; David Radloff; Paul (Jennie) Radloff; Adam (Jackie) Radloff; John Radloff; Brian (Kim) Chmielowicz; Scott (Samantha) Chmielowicz; Ann (John) Spillane and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Theodore, Stanley & Casey Grochowski. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, March 1st, 2014, with Father Amalraj Roche, officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be make to a charity of your choice.
