My cousin's husband whom I was lucky enough to see and talk with at many family occasions and reunions. He was a very smart, clever guy who was interested in history and family. He liked to impart his knowledge and used "word play" to see if people were really listening. A unique gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.

Was blessed enough growing up a house down from Knoke's. Such treasure memories of Mr and Mrs Knoke(will always called them Mr and Mrs.) How they ever put up with this puggy spoiled kid in house next door beyond me. One my fondest memories is Mr Knoke walking past our house, with this very large German Brown trout he caught down by power damn at end N Franklin. I don't know who jumped up faster to see that whopper, My Dad or me. Our thoughts and prayers you all.
I remember his wit and love for music. He was the best accordion player I knew. Not an instrument that is taught much anymore, so was glad to have heard him play. I remember the farm and the pigs he had and how much fun it was to visit and just run and play out there as a kid. He will be missed, but glad he is in his heavenly home where he can enjoy all that is not yet for us to have. Our day will come and we shall see him again. Our love and hugs to the whole family!
Pete and family, I was able to get to know your father and we always talked a bit if I saw him at the post office or in town. A soft spoken, cool man, cherish your memories of him. Mark.
