For a number of years, my family rented a vacation home on Spencer Lake next to the home of Lud and Maxine. Since Lud and Maxine had lived in Brookfield before moving to the Waupaca area, I would enjoy going over and talking with them about the things that were happening in Brookfield, where I am the Mayor. I really enjoyed knowing them and I send my prayers and sincere condolences to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
