John D. Robinson's Obituary
John D. Robinson, age 59, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Oshkosh, WI, after a battle with cancer. John was born on November 18, 1955, in Stevens Point, WI, the son of Harlan C. and Ramona (Ann) (Sullivan) Robinson. John attended and graduated from Almond Public School in Almond, WI. After graduation John worked for area farmers in the potato industry.
John is survived by a son: Clint (Rebecca) Robinson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, a daughter: Jenna (Bricyn) Perry of Idaho, and four grandchildren: Chase and Mason Robinson and Rylee and Rogan Perry. John is also survived by 4 step children: Tammy, Matt, Tracy Buckholt and Tyler Christianson. John thought of Tyler as his son as they were very, very close. John is further survived by three brothers: Ponch (Rita) Robinson and George (Jane) Robinson of Plainfield WI., Jim (Dawn) Robinson of Nekoosa WI, and four sisters: June Polus of Ripon WI, Ginni (Joe) Hoinacki of Berlin WI, Peg (Roger) Otto of Almond WI, and Mary (Wayne) Hay of Alpharetta GA. John is further survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including his two ex-wives’ Kim and Becky. John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Plainfield, WI on Saturday, December 27, 2014 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Cemetery. All are invited back to the church where a luncheon will be served. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
John endured his hell on earth when he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at the young age of 25. Johnny boy we hope your life journey has ended in heaven, in the arms of the Lord.
