JOHN W. SCHROEDER
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 82 passed away on Monday, October 30, 2006 under hospice care at Garden Park House in Waupaca. He was born April 10, 1924 in Waupaca, WI; son of Louis and Frances (Erdmann) Schroeder. On July 16, 1946, John married Lorraine Jensen in Waupaca, WI. She preceded him in death on March 24, 1994. John was a carpenter for most of his life. In his later years, he farmed and collected old engines and cars. John was a band director and member of a Barbershop Quartet. John is survived by:

Daughters: Cheri (Ted) Nelsen of Waupaca, WI
Mary (Mark) Todd-Long of Independence, MO
Grandchildren: Jared Schroeder, Thomas and Laura Nelsen, and Kyle Todd
Great-Granddaughter: Sawyer Nelsen He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Avis Schroeder and Lorraine Schroeder, and his son, Steven Schroeder. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind following the services on Saturday.
