John Wilkinson's Obituary
John Michael Wilkinson, age 52, of Pine River, WI, passed away Monday, August 20th, 2012 as the result of a motorcycle accident. John was born in Stevens Point, WI on February 3, 1960, a son of George and Mary (Crueger) Wilkinson. John graduated from Waupaca High School. John was Mr. Fix It, always ready to help everyone from fixing cars to remodeling houses. He worked for many years at Ron and Lloyds and was currently employed at Waupaca Foundry. John was an avid hunter and sportsman. John married Tammy Thompson of Wild Rose, WI on March 24, 1997. John is survived by his wife Tammy and daughter Haeleigh at home, son, Matt (Samantha Johnson) Wilkinson of Waupaca, daughter, Emily (John Fox) Wilkinson of Iola, daughter, Lindsey Wilkinson of Waupaca and son, Jordan Wilkinson of Waupaca. Grandchildren: Destiney, Justus, Bryce, Jakon, Carsyn, Audrey and Brayden. Mother and step-father, Mary and Ardie Braun. Sisters, Joanne (David) Lick, Jill (Mark) Wendt, Jody (Robert) Neuman, Shelley Wilkinson and a brother, Jeff (Paula) Wilkinson. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Wilkinson, grandparents, the family dog, Spike. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in WILD ROSE at 11 AM on Saturday, August 25th, 2012, with Pastor Bob Adams officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 - 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in WAUPACA and on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the Holly Funeral Home in WILD ROSE. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of John Wilkinson.
