John I. Williams' Obituary
John Irvin Williams, age 74, passed away at the King Veteran’s Home in King Wisconsin on March 16th, 2019. Born in Cumberland, MD, on February 17th, 1945, he was the son of Lawrence Williams and Pauline Bach. He grew up in Maryland, and eventually settled in various communities in Wisconsin.
John joined the military and proudly served in the Navy. He spent his life driving a truck over the road, working for numerous companies throughout his career. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family and friends and could be counted on to retell stories from his lifetime and chat for hours. He liked to cook for those he cared for, especially his spaghetti. He greatly enjoyed fishing and sharing big fish stories. John had a lifelong love of dogs and in turn, they all loved him. You could always catch him slipping bits of food to any fur legged friends nearby.
John greatly loved his family, including his children and grandchildren, some of whom were fortunate enough to share a very close relationship with him. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Tammy Lincicum and Jennifer Williams, his son-in-law’s, Jason Lincicum and Andrew Rupprecht, and his beloved grandchildren Matthew Lincicum, Sydney Williams, Austin Williams, Kaitlyn Williams and Dean Rupprecht.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Williams, mother Pauline Bach, sister Judy Lowdermilk, his grandparents, whom he had shared a close relationship with, as well as many other special relatives whom he loved and cared deeply for. He is survived by his family mentioned above, as well as two other children John (Kathleen) Williams and granddaughter Erin, and Kathleen Williams. John is also survived by many friends that he has made over the years.
John will be missed so very much by so many people. John’s family will be having a private service for him in the future to grant his final wishes. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
