Jon did so much for the Amherst area and the people in the area. I remember playing baseball as a young kid and Jon having a big smile seeing all of us coming out to play. When I was about 16 or 17 I helped coach the traveling team, Jon trusted me to use his vehicle to take the team to a tournament.
My Mom worked for Jon at the Potato warehouse for many years. Both my parents had the utmost respect for Jon and everyone there. My Mom always said "It is hard work but with Jon and Lonnie it was a joy to work for them"
