FORMERLY OF AMHERST, WISCONSIN Age 26 passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2007 in the Village of Amherst Jct., WI. He was born May 19, 1981 in Stevens Point, WI; son of David Carlson and Hazel Packer. On April 23, 2005, Joe married Kati Boris at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher. Joe graduated from Amherst High School in 1999. He belonged to the Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1999. Joe is survived by:

Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father, R. Scott Packer and his maternal grandfather, William Christensen. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI. Father Robert Pedretti will preside. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Sept. 19, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Amherst following the services on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Joseph Carlson.
