Joseph Guarascio's Obituary
Joseph G. Guarascio, age 77, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born in Kenosha on December 21, 1928, the son of the late Rosario and Catherine (Costautino) Guarascio. Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved to play baseball and pool. He is survived by: Brother: Nick (Patricia) Guarascio, Kenosha, WI; Step mother: Virginia Guarascio, Kenosha, WI. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Frank, Guy, and Russell Jr. and sisters, Mary, Yolanda and Esther. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Main Chapel with Sister Cathy Wottreng officiating. Interment will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
