Joseph Machak's Obituary
Joseph T. Machak, age 85, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Thursday, December 14th, 2006 in Waupaca. He was born in Phillips, WI on January 3, 1921, the son of Sebastian Mike and Veronica Machak. Joseph married Ellen Yentz on April 3, 1948 in Appleton, WI. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2005. Joseph was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during WWII.
He is survived by Daughters: Barbara (Robert) Dennis, South Milwaukee, WI; Jean (Eloy) Briones, Waupaca; Nancy (Albert) Sullivan, Plainfield; Mary (Jim) Tomes, Racine, WI. Joseph is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ellen; daughter, Donna Machak; numerous brothers, sisters, step-brothers, and step-sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 18th, 2006 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Father Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established in Joseph's name.
