JOSEPH C. NULTY
KING, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF ALMOND
Age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born February 24, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Christopher and Mary (Keogh) Nulty. Joseph served in the U.S. Army from October 2, 1951 – September 22, 1953 during the Korean War. On September 24, 1955, Joseph married Carole E. Dulski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Heffron and together they shared 47 years of marriage before her passing on May 23, 2003. Joseph and Carole were “snowbirds” and spent their winters in Mississippi and Texas. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 339 of Almond, WI. Joseph will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by two sons: Gary (Mary Polum) Nulty of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Timothy Nulty of Almond, WI; one daughter: Jane (Kent) Bowman of New Orleans, LA; a granddaughter: Molly (Marshall) Jackson of Madison, WI; one brother: John (Sally) Nulty of Escatawpa, MS; two sisters: Helen Garska of St. Albans, WV and Cathy (Dan) MacArthur of Oshkosh, WI; and a brother-in-law: Jerome (Beverly) Dulski of Neenah, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Mary Nulty, and his wife, Carole Nulty.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond, WI. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 AM – 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in the Town of Belmont following the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Joseph C. Nulty. The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond is assisting the family with arrangements.
