Joseph "Turkey Joe" Pacocha's Obituary
Joseph P. Pacocha “Turkey Joe” age 70 passed away on Thursday November 27, 2014. Joe was born on June 19, 1944, the son of Stanley and Anastacia (Frymark) Pacocha. Joe married Karen Gaetz on November 11, 1967 in Stevens Point, WI. Joe was a member of the Blackhawk Archery Club for over 30 years and the Labors Local 330 for 47 years, an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed watching Nascar and the Packers, and he was the Polonia Cafes #1 customer.
Joe is survived by his wife Karen Pacocha of Custer, WI; his son Joe “Jo Jo” (Sage Lavant) Pacocha of Wilson, WI; his daughter Andrea (Martin) Jarosinski of Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren Geneve Ana June Pacocha and Alice Jarosinski; five brothers Clifford Pacocha of Wauwatosa, WI, Chester Pacocha of Amherst Jct., WI, John (Diane) Pacocha of Amherst Jct., WI, Frank (Bonnie) Pacocha of Amherst, WI and Stanley Pacocha Jr. of Steger, IL; one sister Barbara (Leon) Peplinski of Amherst Jct., WI, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Anastacia Pacocha, and one sister Marge Sankey.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday December 4, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Custer. Father Jude Dioka will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 4 – 7 P.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, and again at the church on Thursday from 10 – 11 A.M. A Rosary service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 6:30 P.M.
