Joseph H. Schmidt
Waupaca, WI (formerly of Chicago, IL) age 65 – passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 7, 2012. He was born on June 23, 1947 in Chicago, the son of Allen and Margaret (Nomady) Schmidt, Sr.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Joanne Samack, daughter and son-in-law: Christine Samack and Mike Lange of Neenah, grandsons: Jacob and Mathew Lange, and brother and sister-in-law: Allen and Marie Schmidt of Skokie, IL. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.
Joseph was a member of Iron Workers Local 63 in Chicago and had been employed as an ornamental iron worker for many years. While living in the Waupaca area Joseph was an active volunteer with the Waupaca County Meals on Wheels program.
Per his wishes no memorial service will be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and can be directed to the Waupaca County Meals on Wheels program. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
