Joseph Turrubiates, age 69, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025. He was born in Sparta, WI on August 27, 1955, a son of the late Genaro Sr. and Julia (Ledesma) Turrubiates.
He married Donna Elkins on September 20, 1975 in Amherst, WI.
Survivors include his Wife: Donna Turrubiates, Waupaca, WI; Son: Joey (Tara) Turrubiates, Waupaca, WI; Daughter: Tracy (Jeremy) Schoenecker, Chula Vista, CA; Siblings: Rosa Turrubiates, Spring City, TN; Robert (Leanne) Turrubiates, Waupaca, WI; San Juanita (Jose) Rodriguez, Oakland, CA; Maria (Bruce) Klepps, Hixson, TN; Raul Turrubiates, Ladysmith, WI; Julie (Eusebia) Morales, Fayetteville, NC; Lisa Turrubiates, Cleveland, TN; Michael Turrubiates, Graysville, TN; Sisters-in-law: Denise Turrubiates, Austin, TX; Alamar Turrubiates, Waupaca, WI; Sharon Haas, Omaha, NE; Shelly Stone, Neenah, WI; Bonnie (Jay) Brown, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Genaro Sr. and Julia Turrubiates; a son, Ty J. Turrubiates; brothers, Genaro and Aurthur Turrubiates; in-laws, Gayhard and Rita Elkins; brothers-in-law, Ralph Johnson, David Elkins and Randy Stone; and two nephews and one niece.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10 AM at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. The service will be followed on Friday, with an Open House Luncheon from 1 PM until 5 PM at Hidden Waters Golf Course on Hwy 54 East of Waupaca.
