Joseph Wayne Wutkevicz's Obituary
Joseph Wayne Wutkevicz of Waupaca, formerly of Menasha, lost his battle with cancer on January 27, 2015 with his family by his side.
Joe was born on April 1, 1946 to Philomene and Joseph Wutkevicz in Stephenson, Michigan. He moved to Neenah in 1968 and was employed by PH Glatfelter for 38 years. He married Carol Peterson on September 20, 1974 and they were able to recently celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
Joe loved fishing, hunting, the Packers, and spending time with family and friends. He was a self-taught handyman and built many quality things in his life. He was a proud of his three daughters and their accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; three beautiful daughters; Kelly Peterson, Appleton; Keri Joslin (Rick Akey), Pewaukee; Jodi Young (Mike Booher), Menasha, his aunt Celestine, and cousin Tim. He is further survived by four grandchildren; Ashley, Alex, Jessica, Chloe, and four great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Ethan, Alexis, and Alex Jr., his long-time hunting and fishing buddies, and his little dog buddy, Tonka.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe; mother, Philomene; and daughter, Kimberly.
As per Joe’s wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. There will be a celebration of life at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Locker Room in Menasha. Please join us in celebrating Joe’s life.
