Joyce and I were coworkers at Bethany for many years. She had nicknamed me "the hitman" because we had the best billing/payment history around. Even after I left Bethany we remained friends. She was a great person and will be missed by all who knew her.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Jim and Joyce were such a significant part of my life. I have been thinking about the impact they had on me while growing up. They were the parents I never had. Whether it was through their shared wisdom, their humor, or just the kindness they showed to me over the years, they truly helped shaped the person I am today. I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have had them in my life. Joyce, you were such a great Mom to me. You treated me like I was one of your sons. You are now reunited with your best friend and husband JIm. Please know that I am holding you, along with your family in my heart. You will be missed so much.
