Judy Kenowski's Obituary
Judy Kenowski has moved in with the Lord on July 29, 2012. Her new address: HEAVEN. She was born in Stevens Point, the daughter of David and Mary Ann (Stachowiak) Hoffman. She attended St. Peter's Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1969. She was employed in the insurance field most of her life, retiring in 2010 from Disher Insurance Services. She married the love of her life, Jim Kenowski on October 2nd, 1982. They settled in the Amherst area since 1992. Judy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer over a year ago. As she embarked on this journey her zest for life remained. Touring the Great River Road, attending a Green Bay Packer Game, flying by herself to Arizona to visit her brother and rides on her new scooter. She loved working in her flower garden, fishing, auctions and listening to some good old polka music. With her enjoyment of family gatherings and celebrations, she was blessed with being able to attend her daughter's wedding and meet her new grandson. We will miss her smile, gentleness and her quirky comical side. We will always remember her strength, commitment to her faith and the persistent, positive attitude she always had on life. We know deeply her love will forever remain. Judy is survived by her husband, Jim, her daughter, Tracey (Geoffrey) Drews, Dawn (Troy) Simonis, Amanda (Justin) Weir and Kristin (Scott) Hoffa, her stepchildren, Todd (Tracey) Kenowski, Cari Kenowski, Tami (Lance) Simonis. Grandchildren, Forrest, Landon, and Josie Drews, Jacob and Trent Simonis, Fynn Weir and step grandchildren Isaac Kenowski, Jessie and Cassie Simonis. She is also survivied by her mother, one brother, Ed (Mary) Hoffman, Patty (Tom) Orlikowski, Diane Millsap and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst at 11 AM on Thursday, August 2nd, 2012, with Father Robert Pedretti, officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church. The family would like to thank Dr. Onitillo, the nurses and staff at the Oncology Department at St. Michaels and hospice.
