Judy H. Lamb's Obituary
Judy H. Lamb age 65 of Custer, WI passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2014. Judy was born on December 21, 1948 the daughter of Dale and Dorothy (Vogt) O’Keefe. Judy married James Lamb on February 21, 1970 at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI. Judy attended the Almond Schools and graduated in 1967. Judy worked at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King for 36 years, first as a CNA, then as an LPN, retiring in 2006 as a scheduling supervisor. Judy liked to read and do crafts with the grandchildren, crochet and spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed attending car shows, sock hops, high school sports and church picnics with her husband.
Judy is survived by her husband Jim Lamb of Custer, WI; two children Jerome Lamb of Custer, WI and Jolynn (Matt) Zierden of Shawano, WI; two grandchildren Alex and Caleb Zierden of Shawano, WI; one brother Patrick (Tina) O’Keefe of Almond, WI; three sisters Kathy (Wayne) Schulist of Plainfield, WI, Lisa O’Keefe of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Kelly (John) Taber of Howards Grove, WI, many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Dorothy O’Keefe; two brothers Daniel and Raymond; two nieces Doralynn and Dawn; one nephew Daniel Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 23 at 11 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. Father Jude Dioka will officiate with burial of cremains to be held at a later date in the St. James Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 8 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, and again on Wednesday at church from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
