JULIE K. KONKOL
STEVENS POINT AND AMHERST JCT., WISCONSIN Age 60, passed away peacefully in the company of her two sons on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI. She was born January 12, 1950 in Stevens Point, WI; daughter of Julian and Alice (Hintz) Henke. Julie loved family life and entertaining guests, hosting holiday dinners for friends and family members who may not have had a place to go. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Julie volunteered for many years with Meals On Wheels in the Stevens Point area. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Julie is survived by:

Best Friend: Linda Massopust of Almond, WI Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Alice Henke. A Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville, WI. Reverend Gretchen Anderson will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, June 20, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and also on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Julie’s name to a charity dedicated to cancer research. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank Dr. Rezazadeh and the staff at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for all of their care and comfort in our mother’s final days. The care that she received will never be forgotten.
