JULIE A. MIX
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Julie Anne Mix, age 54 of Wild Rose, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Thursday, November 8, 2012. Julie was born on May 17, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI to June (the late Jack) Mix. She attended Mother of Good Counsel grade school and St. Pius XI High School. After graduating high school in 1976, she worked for Miller Compressing Company as a yard manager at their Jones Island location until leaving Milwaukee in 1992. Since moving from Milwaukee to Wautoma, Julie worked for Redgranite Post Office, EFY in Coloma, Wisconsin Resource Center, and Redgranite Correctional Institution until her retirement in 2010. Julie enjoyed working with youth. She was a scout leader, taught hunter’s safety, and coached elementary and high school volleyball. She also loved gardening and was always there for anyone in need of help. She is survived by her mother June Mix, son Brad Obarski, aunt Marilee (late Jack) Toman, cousins and many dear friends. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her devoted pets Roscoe, Toby, and Nigel. Julie’s wish was to be cremated. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish in Wautoma on Thursday, November 15th at 11 AM with Rev. Robert Stegmann and Rev. Mons. Mark Schommer officiating. Vistiation will be held one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
