June R. Shears, age 85, formally of Winneconne passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. June was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lena (Ort) Harris. On June 11, 1946 June married William F. Shears in Racine, WI. June is survived by her husband: Bill Shears, Wisconsin Veterans Home; her daughter: Sande (William) Schultz, Townsend, WI and two grandchildren: Arthur & William Schultz. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-MacArthur Hall Chapel, King with Rev. Wayne Schwanke, officiating. Burial will be later in the Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend, WI. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 to 1:30 PM at the chapel. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
