KAILYN L. MUNSTER
WAUPACA, WI. Age 20 – died very suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Immanuel St. Joseph-Mayo Hospital in Mankato, MN. She was born on January 16, 1986 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Richard and Cathy (Zik) Munster. Kailyn was the birth mother of Charlie Wind. Her baby was placed into an open adoption to Jay and Sally Wind of St. Louis, MO. She is further survived by her parents: Rick and Cathy Munster of Waupaca, WI, her brother: Brian (Tami) Munster of Sun Prairie, WI, her sister: Lyndsey (Halden) Collins of Waupaca, WI, her niece and god daughter: Maelynn Collins, and her maternal grandfather: Raymond Zik of Two Rivers, WI. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Richard and Louise Munster, her maternal grandmother: Virginia Zik, and an aunt: Cheryl Zik. Kailyn was a student at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN studying nursing. While in Mankato she had also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Oak Lawn and Autumn Grace Nursing Homes. She was a 2004 graduate of Waupaca High School. Kailyn loved all sports and had been very active in speed skating, hockey, and track. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM, with Father James Vennix, officiating. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, and at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the name of Kailyn L. Munster. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
