Goodbye my beautiful Aunt Karen... So incredibly hard to believe your gone from our lives, as you were such a big part of my family. Thanks for all the beautiful memories!! Even though we were separated by a thousand miles, you made them melt away and feel that you were near with your encouraging and thoughtful words. We'll never forget you or your heart of gold!! I know you're reunited now in the loving arms of Kaelynn and Joel, at last and forever.. and so many more you've been missing for so long. Your love for your children is everlasting and timeless.. and you were an inspiration to me~
You've been the only one I could share being a forever faithful MN Viking fan with... so I'll cheer a little louder and count on a little divine intervention!!! (wink, wink)

Karen will be deeply missed. I spent most of my time of my teenage years in her home as Kaelynn was my very best friend. Karen always had words of advice for me no matter the situation. She truely helped me survive some hard times. We spent many years traveling to watch wrestling matches and tournaments. I am so thankful to have seen Karen in person to talk recently. She will be loved and remain in my heart forever.
Karen's family...….
I was saddened to learn Karen has died. We remained good friends for about "57" years. Many of our fond memories go back to the Gmach's restaurant days.
Others share your sorrow.
Sending love your way,
Karla Kometer
Sympathy to all of Karen's family and friends. I graduated from high school with her and we have kept in touch throughout those many years after, The journey our lives take is an amazing one, Karen's certainly was, but also too short. So it is and so it goes.
My Aunt Karen loved her family so much. She came and cheered her great-niece and great-nephew, my kids, when they were competing in her area, and she was one of my mom’s rocks, especially in these last few months. We will miss her caring spirit and her poetic soul.
