Karen A. Wendt's Obituary
Karen Ardys Wendt, age 82, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, as a result of an ongoing health issue. She was born August 30, 1942 in Mauston, WI to the late Ardys and Riley Robinson. She was a 1960 graduate of Mauston High School and a graduate of Madison Business College. She worked at WI Physicians Service in Madison for two years before marrying Andy Wendt and moving to Waupaca in 1964.
Karen and Andy were married in 1963 in Mauston, WI, and at the time of her death, they had been married for 62 years.
Karen is survived by her husband, Andy Wendt of Waupaca, WI; two daughters, Holly Wendt (John Dykhoff), Minneapolis, MN, and Kim Knutson, La Crosse, WI; two grandsons, Sam (Cara) Kinderman, Wauwatosa, WI, and Ross Kinderman, St. Paul, MN; and one great-grandson, Simon Kinderman. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dave Robinson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Holly’s. Burial will be held at a later date at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca.
