Kari Chapple's Obituary
Kari L. Chapple, age 46, of Wild Rose, WI passed away Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wild Rose on January 18, 1963, the daughter of Clyde and Isabel (Potts) Urban. Kari married Steven Chapple on June 19, 1998 in Wild Rose. She was a dedicated and enthusiatic English teacher for the Wild Rose Middle School. She had a great love for each one of her students. Kari was also known for her love of planting trees. Kari was a devoted wife and a wonderful mom. She was an active member of West Holden Lutheran Church. She is survived by her Husband: Steven Chapple, Wild Rose, WI; Children: Sara (Phil Ragonese) Akin, Oshkosh, WI; Samantha (Nate Hall) Akin, Appleton, WI; Nicholas Chapple, Wild Rose, WI. Mother: Isabel Urban, Wild Rose, WI; Father: Clyde (Linda Lowther) Urban, Almond, WI; Brother: Dennis (Faye) Urban, Almond, WI; Grandmother: Lucille Johnson, Plainfield, WI; Step-sons: Nathan Chapple, Westboro, NY; Shawn Chapple, Syracuse, NY; Nephew: Ross Urban, Stevens Point, WI; and Niece: Jenna Urban, El Paso, TX. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Kari was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Margaret and Albert Potts; paternal grandfather, Marvin Urban; Aunt, Jeanette Nelson; Sister-in-law, Vicki Chapple; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Chapple. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma with Reverend Todd Murken officiating. Interment will be in West Holden Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4 until 8 PM Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and on Thursday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
