Katherine M. Westover's Obituary
Katherine M. Westover age 93 of Stevens Point, WI passed away on Friday October 17, 2014. Katherine was born on December 14, 1920 the daughter of Frank Carter and Mary (Gruber) Allison. Katherine married the late George Westover on September 5, 1938. Together they owned and operated a grocery store in Plainfield, WI for 34 years. Katherine loved doing crafts and attending craft fairs, baking and cooking, watching all sports, and she was avid collector.
Katherine is survived by her 2 daughters Jacqulyn (Gary) Walker of Loudon, TN and Janet Westover of Stevens Point, WI; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three brothers John (Lillian) Allison, Richard (Jeanette) Allison, and Scott (Shelly) Allison, many other relatives and friends.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents Frank Carter and Mary Allison; her husband George Westover; and one daughter Mary Jean Fisher.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 23, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield, WI. Deacon Jim Trzinski will officiate, with burial to follow in the Plainfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
