Kathleen "Kathy" J. Bowen's Obituary
Kathleen J. (Kathy) Bowen, age 71, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at her home. She was born in Oshkosh, WI on December 20, 1949, a daughter of the late Cyril and Lucille (Miller) Bloechl.
She married David Bowen on November 11, 1972 in Oshkosh. Kathy had been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. She served on the Patterson Memorial Library Board for several years. Kathy had worked at the Wild Rose Co-op for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time planting flowers every year, trips to Florida and spending time with her grandsons.
Survivors include her Husband: David Bowen, Wild Rose, WI; Children: Wendy Bowen, Ft. Myers, FL; Khristopher (Mishelle) Bowen, Saxeville, WI; Patrick (Carrie) Bowen, Wild Rose, WI; Grandsons: Justin, Derek, Dylan, Wyatt & Greyson; Sisters: Lucy (David) Bradley, Pickett, WI; Sally (Ed) Friedrich, Oshkosh, WI. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose at 2 PM on Saturday, May 1st, 2021, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Interment of cremains will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Wild Rose. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose or The Lost Companion in Saxeville.
