Kathryn J. Voights' Obituary
Mrs. Kathryn J. Voights, age 80, of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, November 13th, 2008 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Mrs. Voights was born in Seymour, WI on November 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land. On Feb 1, 1947, she married Philip H. Voights in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on Aug 12, 2008. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Kaukauna Kathryn worked as a nurse at Kaukauna Hospital and was a crossing guard in Kaukauna for over 15 years. Kathryn and Phil enjoyed, fishing and camping trips with their family to California, New Mexico, Florida, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her Daughters: Mury (Richard) Forseth, Waupaca; Linda (Keith) Riehl, Waupaca; Janette (Darnel) Laabs, Hortonville; Sons: Philip (Marysue) Voights Jr., Waupaca; Conrad Voights, Clovis, New Mexico; David (Wendy) Voights, Kaukauna; Daniel (Betty) Voights, Austin, Texas; Sister: Betty Myers, Bloomington, Illinois. Brother: Eugene (Mary) Land, Kaukauna. Twenty One Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren survive. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by a her husband: Philip; Daughter: Barbara Kirce, Brother: Darrell Land, Duane Land, Sister: Donna (Land) Clifford. Funeral Service will be held at First Assembly of God Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 18th, with Reverend Bob Bohn officiating. Interment will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Tuesday 11-1 P.M. at First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca The family would like to thank the staff on 2nd floor at Theda Clark Hospital, Theda Care Hospice and Rennes Rehab in Appleton for the excellent care provided to Kathryn and her family during her illness A.J.
