Kathryn "Cappy" Lea's Obituary
Kathryn “Cappy” Lea age 89 of Amherst, passed away on Thursday July 24, 2014. Kathryn was born on November 11, 1924 the daughter of Raymond and Opal (Bennett) O’Keefe. Kathryn married the late Gerald Lea on June 21, 1941.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter Susan (Jon) Krogwold of Amherst, WI; four sons Bill (Deanna) Lea of Cameron, WI, Robert (Carol) Lea of Amherst, WI, Gary (Lynda) Lea of Amherst, WI and Terry Lea of Plover, WI; ten grandchildren Carrie Lea, Christie (Mike) Pacocha, Cammie (Chuck) McDaniels, Scott (Nicole) Lea, Kevin (Sandy) Krogwold, Kyle (Beth) Krogwold, Kraig (Amy) Krogwold, Jodi Fleming, Janeen Lea, and Robert (Shawn) Lea; twenty three great grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Raymond (Opal) O’Keefe; twin sons Richard and Daniel Lea, granddaughter Lorry Krogwold, three brothers Neil, Dale and Raymond O’Keefe, and three sisters Helen Olkiewicz, Myrna Holtz and Jean Boelter.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 12 P.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home. Reverend James Rivers will officiate with burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
