Kathryn Neanhouse's Obituary
Kathryn L. Neanhouse, age 76, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on September 7, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Constance (Campbell) MacIntyre. Kathryn retired from teaching in 1989 and moved to Long Lake in Waushara County. Within a short time, she became active at the Waupaca Library where she was president of the Friends of the Library. As president she formed the 3rd Thursday group at the library. Kathryn was also very active volunteering at the Wisconsin Veterans Home where she had served 2,442 volunteer hours. She also worked for serveral years reading meters for Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative. She is survived by Brother: Robert (Hope) MacIntyre, Waupaca, WI; Sisters: Leslie MacIntyre, New Berlin, WI; Nancy (Charles) Oestreich, Waupaca, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jean Grennell. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2006 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
