Kathy A. Stroik's Obituary
Kathy Ann Stroik (Bremmer), age 75, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born to the late Clarence “Fran” and Mary (Delrow) Bremmer on October 26, 1946.
Kathy married Tom Stroik on June 25, 1966. He was her rock and best friend until his death on July 11, 2017. Kathy worked at the Waupaca High School for many years and had many of who she called “her kids”. She continued to have that effect on people even after she stopped working. Kathy had a wonderful sense of humor even after she went deaf 10 years ago. Her outlook was always positive.
Kathy is survived by her daughter Robyn (Scott) Bailey of Waupaca; grandchildren Brenna, Alissa, and Jordan Kallevig and Connor, Dawson, and Avery Bailey; three siblings Scott (Sandy) Bremmer, Randy (Dolly) Bremmer, and Kristy (Dave) Madson; and also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence “Fran” and Mary Bremmer; her husband Tom Stroik; her daughter Connie Kallevig; a nephew Tim Bremmer; and many in-laws.
Private family burial services will be held at a later date with a small celebration of life to follow. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
A special thank-you to the staff and friends she made at Park Vista, a very special place that took great care of her. Also, thank-you to Dr. Spencer for the wonderful care given to our mother and grandma.
