Waupaca, WI
Age 61 – died on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. She was born on May 28, 1950 in Nuremberg, Germany, the daughter of Andreas Iwanetschko and Anna (Borloch) Iwanestschko Lincoln. She married Richard K. “Dick” Salter on June 25, 1970 in Zirndorf, Germany.
Katja is survived by her husband, Dick, daughter; Brenda (Randy) Dain and their son, Jacob of Weyauwega, sons; Tom (Kayla) Salter and her children, Patrick, Reilly, and Logan of Weyauwega, and Mike Salter and his sons, Blaik and Taylor of Waupaca, mother; Anna Lincoln of Tampa, FL, father; Andreas Iwanetschko of Germany, brothers; Tony Lincoln of Arizona and Lyle Lincoln of Florida, sister-in-law; Mary Kay (John) Starcheske of Ogdensburg, and very special friends; Josh Fradrick, Jamie Sanderfoot, Katie Sanderfoot, and Manuela Wadington. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
Katja had been employed at Weasel’s Restaurant in Waupaca for a number of years. Prior to working at Weasel’s she had worked at the Village Inn Motel in Waupaca for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Waupaca. She had a number of interests including working in her flower garden, feeding deer in her yard, dancing, and cooking. She also cherished the times she spent with her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Noon, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews – Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday morning from 10:00 am until Noon. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
