Kay F. Duerr's Obituary
Kay F. Duerr, age 89, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Monday, December 22nd, 2025 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born in Saxeville, WI on September 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (Sorenson) Moldenhauer.
She married Richard Duerr on July 2, 1955 in Auroraville. He preceded her in death. Kay moved around the Waushara County area as a child and moved to Berlin in her teens. She lived her adult life in Berlin, until she went into Rosemore, which she was a resident for over 8 years. She enjoyed living there, the food was great and the staff became part of the family. She had many hobbies, including, crochet, ceramics, cross-stitch, stamping. Then after she retired, she spent a lot of time at the Berlin senior center, volunteered there and helped them with their cookbook by entering the recipes in the computer. That is where she learned to paint landscapes, birds, etc. Her family and friends will cherish those paintings she gave them.
Survivors include her Daughter: Lynn (Ray) Hahn; Son: Loren (Donna) Duerr Grandchildren: Kristopher (Kari) Hahn; Patrick (Nea) Hahn; Justin (Nicole) Hahn; Cory (Samantha) Duerr; Jenny (Marty)Ferguson; Erika (Jesse) Smith; Great Grandchildren: Ella Hahn; Jake Hahn; Kendall Hahn; Kailyn Hahn; Sophia Hahn; Apollo Hahn; Kassidy Ferguson; Conrad Duerr; Conner Smith; Ben Smith and a Great Great Grandchild: Kolt She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Evelyn Moldenhauer, Brothers Jim and Ray, husband, Richard and a son Jeffrey Duerr.
As per family wishes, no service will be held. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in Howes Corner Cemetery, Town of Mt. Morris, Waushara Co., WI.
