KEITH D. BOWEN
WILD ROSE, WI Age 85 – died on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose, WI. He was born on June 15, 1920 in the Township of Springwater, Waushara County, a son of the late Walter and Erna (Zick) Bowen. He married Frances Barnhart on September 26, 1944 in Wild Rose. Keith is survived by his wife: Frances, five children: Cathy Bowen of Princeton, Janet (Norman) Strehlow of Poy Sippi, David (Kathy) Bowen of Wild Rose, Tori Bowen of Almond, and Lori (Bruce) Peterson of Byron, MN. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, a brother-in-law: Robert Christie of Wild Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law: Lelah and Bruno Jensen, a sister: Mary Christie, and two nephews: Glen Jensen and Donald Jensen. Mr. Bowen had farmed in the Wild Rose area for many years. He and his family loved horses and raised registered thoroughbred horses and white faced cattle. He had also worked at the Waupaca Foundry for many years. He worked for a few years for the former Northern Propane Gas Co. in Waupaca. He had also operated a Morning Glory Milk delivery route in the Wild Rose area. He enjoyed deer hunting. He also enjoyed bowling and shooting pool. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family with arrangements.
