Keith (Zeke) Johnson's Obituary
Keith A. (Zeke) Johnson, age 68, of Oshkosh, WI passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Evergreen Health Care Center in Oshkosh. Keith was born in Waupaca on February 5, 1943, the son of the late Alton C. and Viola D. (Jensen) Johnson. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years for Winnebago County Maintenance Dept. Keith is survived by his children: Jill Johnson, Oshkosh and Nathan (Erin) Johnson, New Berlin; his grandsons: Cole & Grant Johnson; his brothers: James (Sandy) Johnson, Iola and Thomas (Susan) Johnson, Waupaca; a sister: Nancy Kubenik, Rhinelander and a sister-in-law: Peggy Johnson, Rhinelander. Keith is also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul Johnson. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 7 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Military Graveside Services will be held later in the spring at Salem (Swede) Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Farmington. A memorial visitation will be on Saturday morning, Jan. 7 from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
