Ken Schenkenberger's Obituary
Ken Schenkenberger, age 63, of Redgranite, died peacefully Thursday, January 4, 2024, surrounded by family at home. Ken was born January 30, 1960, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Mary and Milton Schenkenberger. He was a graduate of Franklin High School. He married the love of his life, Tami Schenkenberger, on August 26, 2006, in Redgranite.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman and devoted father and husband who truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, shooting pool, and spending time with his family watching movies, playing Dirty Marbles, going for walks, and sitting around the fire.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Tami; son, Logan Schenkenberger; daughters, Amanda (Scott) Werner, Kayla (Justin) Pucker, and Taylor Fabricius; grandchildren, Dominic, Rowan, Kennedy, Joeie, Rae, Jacob and August; his father Milton Schenkenberger; siblings, Ed (Jennie) Schenkenberger, Sue (Roger) Borland, and Lynn (Herb) Hinch; nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; brother-in-law, Trent; niece Madisyn; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 11 am at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI. Pastor Al Spitler will officiate. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI (630 County Road GH, Wild Rose, WI).
Memorials can be made in Ken’s honor to the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center – Ascension NE Wisconsin (Mercy Campus).
