Kenneth Daniel Conradt's Obituary
Kenneth D. (Unc) Conradt, age 66, passed away on Thursday February 1, 2018. Ken was born on November 28, 1951 to David and Marlis (Diemel) Conradt.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, David and Marlis Conradt and his twin brother, Keith Conradt. He is survived by his sister Marlene Minton of Mosinee, WI, sister-in-law Barbara Conradt of Waupaca, WI, nephew Kyle (Cara) Conradt of Appleton, WI, nieces Jennifer (Adam) Kopp of St. Paul, MN and Kari (Davin) Schwartz of Waupaca, WI, great-nephew Jonathan Schwartz of Waupaca, WI and many other relatives and friends.
Ken graduated from Fox Valley Tech in 1972 with a degree in accounting.
Ken was always a hard worker; he did repairs at JR’s TruValue, was a painter at Moore O’Matic, and most recently a custodian for the Waupaca School District.
Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards, old cars, bowling, and horseshoes. At family gatherings he was THE chicken griller extraordinaire. He shared his interests with family and friends and got many involved. He was everybody’s go to handyman, if Unc couldn’t fix it, no one could.
Unc will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew for stepping up and taking on a father’s role after his twin brother Keith passed away in 1992.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca beginning at 11 AM. Rev. Nigel Bousfield will be officiating. Friends and family may call the evening before from 3-8 PM at Holly Funeral Home and again the morning of services from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place in the spring of 2018 at Union Cemetery in Shawano, WI.
