Kenneth Jorstad's Obituary
Kenneth A. Jorstad, age 80, of Wild Rose, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, April 28th, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Onalaska, Wisconsin on March 12, 1925, the son of Peter and Lillie (Bruemmer) Jorstad. Ken married Patricia Love Fjelstad on June 19, 1948 in Onalaska, WI. He served in the United States 4th Marine Division in the World War II. Kenneth received his Graduate Degree from UW - Whitewater and his Master's Degree from UW - Madison. He was a Business Education Teacher at the Oshkosh High School and later at Highland Park High School in Illinois. Ken was Past President of the Wisconsin Business Education Association. Ken is survived by Wife: Patricia Jorstad, Wild Rose, WI; Sons: Gary (Cherie) Jorstad, Burlington, WI; Robert (Cammy) Jorstad, Carmel, IN; Dean (Julie) Jorstad, Milwaukee, WI; Grandchildren: Kara and Brye Jorstad; Brother: Jerome Jorstad, La Crescent, MN; Sister: Jeanette Baker, Onalaska, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-mother, Alice Jorstad. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Wild Rose United Methodist Church with the Reverend Diane R. Fite officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Onalaska City Cemetery. A memorial has been established. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family.
