Kenneth L. Peterson's Obituary
Kenneth L. Peterson, age 77, of Waupaca passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Thedacare Reginal Medical Center-Waupaca. Ken was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on April 27, 1944, the son of the late Marvin and Inez (Howen) Peterson.
He worked for many years in building maintenance at Sturm Food’s in Manawa WI. Ken also mowed many friends and family’s lawns in later years as he enjoyed doing what he could to help those around him. He loved spending time with his family whether it was dinner, playing cards, different events, or just sitting at his home and sharing some laughs.
Ken is survived by his son: Randy Peterson, Waupaca; his grandchildren: Mariah Peterson; Amber Peterson; Nathen Peterson; and Katie (Bonnell) McKay; His great grandchildren: Alizabeth and Philip McKay; His sister Lois (Peterson) Riske, Manawa, and brother Robert Peterson, Arizona.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his 2 sons: Bradley and Kelly Peterson, his former wife Paula (Adams) Peterson, his sister and brother-in-law: Elayne (Peterson) and George Anderson, sister-in-law: Patricia (Murphy) Peterson, and brother-in-law: Lloyd ‘Boots’ Riske.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Holly’s Funeral Home, Waupaca with Pastor Andy Behrendt officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
