Kenneth R. Tronnier
Wild Rose, WI
age 85 – died on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point, WI. He was born on June 26, 1928 in Cudahy, WI, the son of John J. and Stella (Inman) Tronnier. He married Helen M. Kornatowski on September 16, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2004.
Ken is survived by his children: Robert J. (Nancy) Tronnier of Golden Valley, MN, Kenneth D. (Cheryl) Tronnier of Rome, Betty M. Tronnier of Wild Rose, Joanne R. (John) Ash of Mosinee, and Donald E. Tronnier of Algoma, grandchildren: Benjamin Tronnier, Angela Casanova, Kurtis Tronnier, Krista Tronnier, Nicholas Hanford, Tania Hanford, Tina Smith, Jake Smith, Casey Smith, Nathan Ebert, Jeremiah Ash, and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Joyce (Bill) Fakler of Wisconsin Della, and Elsie Stalker of Westfield, and a brother: Edwin Greenwald of Cecil. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents, two brothers: John Tronnier, Jr, and Richard Tronnier, and a sister: Nettie “Betty” Kryll.
Kenneth spent his early childhood years in Cudahy. He then spent the next 40 years as a television repairman in Green Bay, retiring to Kusel Lake near Wild Rose where he enjoyed life on the lake with his wife Helen. Kenneth had also served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II.
A memorial service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Ted Trudgeon, officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
