Kurt A. Rolfes' Obituary
Kurt Allen Rolfes, 67, Fremont, passed away suddenly Tuesday July 15, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1958, in Oshkosh to Paul and Shirley (Reeves) Rolfes. He married his late Ex-Wife Elizabeth (Farley) Rolfes in 1991 and they had 2 children. Kurt proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was part of Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm. Kurt had many interests including bowling, reading before bed, traveling and visiting museums, attending EAA AirVenture, but his favorite activities were fishing and spending time out in the boat with both his children. Kurt worked at Tyson Foods as Forklift Operator for many years.
Survivors included are his 2 children Jarod (Leah Hans) and Krystal, his mother Shirley, 4 sisters: Virginia (Bill) Schmidt, Kris (Jim) Paulsen, Lori Lynch, and Paula Allen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Kurt was preceded in death by his father Paul and an infant brother and sister.
A Visitation will be held at Nicolet Memorial Gardens in Green Bay from 11 AM until 2 PM on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, with burial and Military Honors to follow.
