LANAH E. PETERSON
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 89 passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born August 14, 1916 in Aniwa, WI; daughter of Harry and Laura (Kreger) Telfer. LaNah graduated from Elco High School. She managed D&M Beauty Shops in Marshfield and Waupaca. On January 18, 1946, LaNah married Gordon Peterson in Waupaca, WI. They enjoyed camping, traveling, and being with family and friends. LaNah was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waupaca and was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1037. LaNah is survived by:

Lucille Peterson of Three Lakes, WI She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerome Telfer, sister, Geraldine (Bernard) DeLoye, and a brother-in-law, Norman Peterson. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Waupaca. Reverend Mike Weigand will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with a VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service at 6:30 PM. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in the spring. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of LaNah E. Peterson.
