Larry W. Zempel's Obituary
Larry W. Zempel age 78 , of Waupaca, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday June 26, 2021. Larry was born on September 20, 1942, the son of William and Gladys (Moran) Zempel. Larry married Sharon Paulson on June 11, 1982 in Waupaca. Larry enjoyed woodworking, hunting and stock car races.
Larry is survived by his wife Sharon Zempel of Waupaca, WI; his children Luann Morgan of Waupaca, David (Karen) Zempel of Waupaca, WI, Jeff (Terry) Zempel of Waupaca, WI, Cynda Maruska of Milwaukee, WI; his step children Jeffrey Nicewander of Waupaca, WI, Joel (Kris) Nicewander of Oregon, WI, Jason (Tami) Nicewander of Waupaca, WI and Jarrod (Tiffany) Nicewander of Waupaca, WI; his brother Ronald (Lynn) Zempel of Waupaca, WI; his sisters Deborah Kottke of Rockford, IL and Jolene Gassen of Waupaca, WI; twenty grandchildren, many great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents William and Gladys Zempel; his brother Thomas and sister Lori.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Waupaca, WI, with Pastor Larry Gross officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 30, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI and again at church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the Crystal Lake Cemetery.
