Laura M. Iverson
Waupaca, WI age 46 – died very unexpectedly on September 16, 2008. She was born on July 27, 1962 in Racine, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Shirlee (Eppers) Giese. She married Iver L. Iverson on October 31, 1992 in Stevens Point, WI. Laura is survived by her husband; Iver, a step-daughter; Angie Iverson of New London, a step-son; Adam (Melissa) Iverson of Manawa, a granddaughter; Morgan Iverson-Johnson, her mother; Shirlee Giese of Stevens Point, a brother; Chris (Jane) Giese of Stevens Point, two nieces; Jessica and Elizabeth Giese of Stevens Point, and a nephew; Jacob Giese of Stevens Point. She and Iver also had two cats they were very close to; Millie and Olivia. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; Thomas Giese. Laura had been the Director of the Waupaca Chapter of the Red Cross for many years. She was actively serving on the Waupaca City Council and had been involved with the city council since 2003. She was the co/owner of the L&I Lawn Service in Waupaca for the last six years. She had also at one time been employed as a photography assistant for Contemporary Photography in Stevens Point. She and Iver loved to go camping when they could get away. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon – 1:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established at the Community First Credit Union in Waupaca in the name of Laura M. Iverson. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting with arrangements.
