Laura Riley's Obituary
Laura May Riley, age 85, of Amherst, WI, formerly of Racine passed away Friday, April 22nd, 2005 at the Stevens Point Care Center. She was born in Clearfield, WI on September 14, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Fish) Richtmyre. She married John William Riley on April 22, 1939 in Racine, WI. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1972. She is survived by Children: John (Nancy) Riley, Taylors, SC; Melvin (Edith) Riley, Scandinavia, WI; Penny (Gregg) Orlowski, Amherst, WI; Michael (Mary) Riley, Oxford, WI; Marla (Lowell) Borgen, Amherst, WI; Sixteen Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren; Sister: Alice Minikel, Kenosha, WI. Laura is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; great grandson, Max; three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst with Reverend Gretchen Anderson officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine, WI. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home in Amherst and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
