Lavern H. Phelps' Obituary
Lavern H. Phelps, age 72, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Veterans Home. Lavern was born in Iola, WI on July 14, 1944, the son of the late Howard and Florence (Larson) Phelps. He served in the U.S. Army. Lavern was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Phelps. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, June 21 at 10:30 AM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Main Chapel.
