LAVERNE A. HAASE
POY SIPPI, WISCONSIN
Age 81, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 under hospice care at Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose, WI. He was born July 3, 1934 in Waupaca, WI; son of Alfred A. and Mildred (Button) Haase and was Baptized into the body of Jesus Christ. On February 6, 1954, LaVerne married JoAnn E. Masten at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in Poy Sippi, WI. He worked for 43 years at Neenah Foundry before retiring in 1996. LaVerne and JoAnn opened their home to many family and friends and enjoyed hearing from those friends throughout the years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Poy Sippi Fire Department for many years. LaVerne loved to watch the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers on TV. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa and will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mildred Haase; a daughter, Lisa Haase; a son-in-law, Lynn Hobbs; and two brothers-in-law, Marlyn Hahn and LaVerne Cartwright.
A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend Mark Meier, Sr. officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, Sept. 14th, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and again on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Poy Sippi Cemetery following the service on Tuesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi is assisting the family with arrangements.
