Lawrence J. Glodowski
Lawrence (Larry) J. Glodowski of Menomonee Falls, died July 19th, 2007, at age 46 while traveling in Hawaii. Larry was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on July 15th, 1961, eldest child to Lawrence and Jeanette Glodowski. He is survived by his mother Jeanette; sister Christine Baker; brother-in-law Matthew Baker; niece Anna Baker; nephews Josiah, Micah, and Noah Baker; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; other relatives and friends.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Lawrence H. Glodowski, his grandparents Onufry & Sadie Glodowski and William & Marie Peterson.
Larry retired from 20 years active duty service in the US Air Force (79-99). He received the rank of Staff Sergeant and earned numerous decorations for service. He worked as a ground radar maintenance technician. He was stationed at the following locations: AK, FL, MS, OK, TX, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.
Larry was a member of the VFW Post 1037 in Waupaca.
A Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, Aug. 2, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home with a VFW Service to be held at 7:30 PM. Burial will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington following the services on Friday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
