Lawrence "Larry" Hanson's Obituary
Larry E. Hanson age 71 of Weyauwega, WI, passed away on Monday April 12, 2021. Larry was born on May 18, 1949, the son of Erwin and Dorothy (Rohloff) Hanson. Larry married the late Mary Ann Jansen on November 4, 1972 in Weyauwega, WI. Larry was an avid farmer, who enjoyed spending time in his John Deere, in his fields.
Larry is survived by his daughter Tracy (Ray) Borntrager of Weyauwega, WI; his son Travis (Kristy Mechelke) Hanson of Weyauwega, WI; his step daughters Rachel (Ben) Tilley, Brooke Tilley and Ashlee Tilley; one brother Mark Hanson of Weyauwega, WI; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; daughter-in-law Holly Hanson and nephew Eric Hanson.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Dorothy Hanson; his wife Mary Hanson; his son Troy Hanson and girlfriend Patti.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at Larry’s house, from 12 Noon until 5 P.M. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
